RusIndex is a Russian index agency created in recognition of the market need for an independent provider of financial benchmarks. It was founded by a team of experts previously working for SKATE Information Agency. 

RusIndex calculates standing alone indexes, the most well-known is the MT RusIndex, as well as a family of indexes for the Russian stock market. The family includes 6 composite, 3 sector and 9 industry indexes.

In May 2003 Dow Jones and RusIndex joined their forces in creating premium stock indexes for Russia: Dow Jones RusIndex Titans 10 and Dow Jones RusIndex Total Market Index.
